She was predeceased by: her parents, James William Powell and Doris Green Powell. She is survived by: her daughters, Brandi Boykin Parker (Wayne) of Turbeville and Brooke Boykin Wilder (Matt) of Sumter; her grandsons, Boykin Wilder of Sumter, Ford Wilder of Sumter and Gibb Wilder of Sumter; her siblings-in-law, Billie Jean Hemmingway of Summerton, Annelle Powell Cusaac (Don) of Turbeville and Rod Boykin of Manning; her husband Jack Wayne Boykin; and also, Savvy Welsh, Cameron Welsh, Dorn Smith, Sloane Daniels, Rowan Daniels, Dixie Bullock, Wynn Blume and Helen Baxley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Floyd Funeral Home (136 E Main St, Olanta, SC 29114). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Floyd Funeral Home (136 E Main St, Olanta, SC 29114).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Turbeville Children's Home, a cause dear to Jean's heart.
