Kate E. Smith Obituary

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her father Dr. Charlie Dorn Smith, Sr.; her sister Jean Smith Daniel of Raleigh, NC; her siblings-in-law, Eleanor Green Smith and Jack Cornelius Green, Sr.; her nephew Dr. Charlie Dorn Smith, III (Debbie) of Turbeville, SC; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Constance Eleanor "Ellen", Kate Elizabeth "Liz" and Charlie Dorn, IV; her nephew James W. C. Daniel, III (Juliet) of Asheville, NC; her niece Dixie Eleanor Smith Bullock of Columbia; her niece-in-law Stacey Smith Fitts of Turbeville; her nephews, Andrew Bethea Smith of Turbeville and Robert Sidney Green Smith (Katherine) of Charleston; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Effie Robinson, Mary Motley, Ralston Eugene and Margaret Austin; her nephew Jack Cornelius "Shug" Green, Jr. (Donna); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jackson Thomas and Brionna Mary; her siblings, Charlie Dorn Smith, Jr., Mary Ruth "Mic" Smith Green and Ralston Eugene Smith II; her nephew Ralston Eugene Smith, IV; her friend Josephine "Jonnie" Calvert; and also, Uma Sarah, Lucius Harvin Bullock, Jr. and Anna Creighton Smith.

The family will hold a private graveside service in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
