With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Bowzard Hutto of Vance, South Carolina, who passed away on October 10, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Lee Bowzard and Mae Salisbury Bowzard; her husband Lamar Hutto; her daughter Lisa Wimberly Mizell; her siblings, Johnny Bowzard and Ann Bowzard Marden; and the father of her children Robert Wimberly.
She is survived by : her daughter Susan Wimberly Hitchcock (Stuart); her granddaughters, Megan Mizell (Douglas), Rebecca Mizell (Daniel), Jennifer Hitchcock Turner and Candace Hitchcock Jones (Dalton); her siblings-in-law, Libby Bowzard and Don Marden; her son-in-law Barry Mizell; her great grandchildren, Maggie, Sophia Tindall, Raelynn, Baxleigh Turner, Dallas Dickson and Maddox Jones; her niece LeAnne Troutman (Troy); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Spencer, Maelee and Lauren Gibson (Scott); her nephews, Lee, Don Jr., David and Ken Marden; her pet Koda; and also Tanner.
Memorials in Carolyn's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital or MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital.
