He is survived by: his sons, Ned Chassereau of Varnville, Patrick Chassereau of Varnville and Charles Chassereau of Varnville; and his siblings, Rufus Chassereau of Estill, Harold Chassereau of Dayton, Eugune Chassereau of Dayton, Ohio, Ruby Avant of Brunson, Edna Hull of West Columbia, Daisy Breland of Varnville and Maudie Harvey of Beaufort.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to: The American Cancer Society.
