He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Elizabeth F. Coaxum; his children, Carla Malonda (Sam), James Coaxum III, Dr. Sonya Coaxum and Saundra Akoh (Gibson); and his siblings, Rufus Coaxum (Sandra), Hestelle Brown (Wilford), Emma Jean Gary (Nathaniel), Christenia Garrett (Moses), Rogerstine Coaxum (Doorest), Vanessa Robinson (Ronald), Gracie White, Martha Brown (Douglas), Robert Freeman, Jr. (Rosalyn), Arthur Freeman, Sr. (Rose), Earl Freeman (Bertha), Oliver Freeman, Sr. (Sandra), Dr. Brenda Freeman-Stewart, Dr. Hogan Freeman, Marvin Freeman (Gwen) and Caroline Freeman. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
