He was predeceased by: his wife Emma Wates Lesto; his parents, Henry Edward Lesto, Sr. and Lounette Reed Lesto; and his siblings, Henry Edward Lesto, Jr. and Barbara Lou Lesto Graves.
He is survived by: his son James Lesto; and his friend Elizabeth Haselden. He is also survived by two daughters.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel (3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, Charleston, SC 29414). A graveside service was held on Sunday, May 25th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Live Oak Memorial Gardens (3093 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414).
