She was predeceased by: her father Ernest Black; and her former husband William B. Brownlee. She is survived by: her husband Leo Kyzer; her mother Ollie Johnson Black; her children, Earl H. Rhea, III (Teri) and Patricia Ann Riles (Raymond); her grandchildren, RJ Riles, Brittany Lilienthal, Paige Cooper (Nathan) and Trevor Stone; her great grandchildren, James Riles, Raylin Riles, Elijah Riles and Emmy Cooper; and her brother Wayne Black. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
