He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Dee Stewart and Ara Wilson Stewart; and his sister Margie Lenora Stewart Foster. He is survived by: his daughters, April Townsend of Columbia, SC and Sonya Cariker of Mountain Rest; his stepdaughter Lisa Phillips of West Union; his close friend Joyce Roach; his grandchildren, Lewis Stewart, Nicholas Lance, Emilee Townsend, William Townsend, Riley Carver and Jackson Foster; and his great grandchildren, Brantley Smith, Bayleigh Stewart, Kasen Stewart and Sawyer Lance.
