It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dessie Pitts Hilley Beasley (Walhalla, South Carolina), who passed away on July 22, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Pitts and Ester Moore Pitts; her great great grandchild Magnolia James Reid; and her brothers, Jack and Ernest Pitts.
She is survived by: her children, Lamar Bo Hilley (Bridgett) of Seneca, SC, Elaine Lee (Mike) of Walhalla, SC, Debbie McClure (David) of Walhalla, SC, Donna Hardin (Eddie) of Walhalla, SC and Teresa Bates (David) of Walhalla, SC; and her siblings, Wallace Pitts, Marshall Pitts, Jimmy Pitts, Christine Pitts Smith, Dottie Pitts Elliott and Mary Pitts Thomas. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
