She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Conrad and Pauline Todd Brandt; and her brothers, Rev. Henry N. Brandt and George C. Brandt. She is survived by : her sister Sarah B. Wyatt of Walhalla.

“Dr. Brandt was my sister's (Annette Senn Crawford) Elementary Ed Professor at Presbyterian. She was a mentor that my sister truly admired and trusted to help her educate countless children during her 39 year teaching career. She even named her first born Brandt and baked Dr. Brandt's famous Grated Apple Pie until she passed away in August of 2022. I know Annette was waiting on her when she came through the pearly gate. My sympathy to the family on a life well lived, Debbie Shumpert”
