It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jackie Powell Owens (Walhalla, South Carolina), who passed away on January 5, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence J. Powell, Sr. and Aggie Maxie Powell; her children, Donny Ray Owens and Gwin Owens Cooper; and her siblings, Junice J. Powell, Ruby Morgan, Mildred Wood and Wilma Conway.

She is survived by: her son William Max Owens of Walhalla, SC. She is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
