He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Elizabeth Cantrell and Janie Mae Smith Cantrell; his daughter Fonda Darol Bolding; and his siblings, B. C. Cantrell, Leon Cantrell, J. D. Cantrell, Ray Cantrell, Rachel Reid and Jessie Siss Winkler.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Darol Cantrell; his children, Paul Eugene Cantrell, II of Walhalla, Annette Ivester (Don) of Carnesville, GA and Misty Leigh Gilliam (Allen) of Westminster; his grandchildren, Randy Bolding (Torie), Isaac Ivester, Miley Ivester and Hayden Gilliam; his great grandchildren, Dusty G. Cantrell, Adrianna Jaden Cantrell and Natalie Bolding; his sister-in-law Linda Humphries; his nephew Michael Humphries; and his siblings, Johnny Cantrell of Walhalla, Burris Cantrell of Greenville, Barbara Burrell of Walhalla and Sandra Burrell (Ronnie) of Salem.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 301 W. Main Street, Walhalla, SC 29691.
