It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Allen Payne of Walhalla, South Carolina, born in McLeansboro, Illinois, who passed away on August 12, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ulysses and Harriet Lasher Payne; and his siblings, John Payne, James Payne, Larry Payne and Thelma Rubenacker.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Snead Payne; his sons, Edward Allen Payne (Carla) of Lawrenceville, GA, Samuel Nicholas Payne of Westminster, Fredrick Arnold Payne Seneca (Tammy) and Frazer Bennett Payne Seneca (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Robby Payne, Cameron Payne, Breanna Payne, Caitlin Payne and Ayden Payne; and his great grandchildren, Addison and Weston Payne.
