She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Griggs and Julia Leviner Griggs; her husband Horace N. Cheves; her son Wade Langdon Cheves; her siblings, Mildred Webb, Julia English, Josephine Quick, Joyce Knight, Lois Griggs, Paul Griggs, Thomas Griggs, Shorty Griggs and L. C. Griggs; her granddaughters, Lori Annette Bennett and Tonya Denise Brock; and her sons-in-law, Howard Brock and Jack Bennett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lois Bennett of Cheraw, SC and Evelyn Brock of Cheraw, SC; her grandchildren, Lisa Campbell (Tim) of Chesterfield, SC, Wade Cheves of Wallace, SC, Scott Bennett of Cheraw, SC and Tommy Brock (Melissa) of Cheraw, SC; her great grandchildren, Tiffani Campbell, Noah Campbell, Lane Brock and Kasey Brock; her siblings, Betty English of Wallace, SC and Edwin Griggs of Wallace, SC; her daughter-in-law Sara Cheves of Wallace, SC; and her granddaughter Tiffani Campbell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
