It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Hooker (Walterboro, South Carolina), who passed away on November 6, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Henry Hooker; her parents, Lee Vaughn and Ollie Perry Vaughn; and her sisters, Jean McClellan, Carletta Keith and Judy Eleazor.
She is survived by: her children, Susann H. Padgett (Michael), Nancy H. Starks (David), Henry Hooker, Jr. (Becky) and Ward L. Hooker (Ana); her grandchildren, Ashleigh P. Headley (Jonathan), David M. Padgett (Ashley), Carie O. Burris (Pierre), Eric O'Bryant (Jessica) and Nicholas Hooker (Hope); and her great grandchildren, Sanders, Ford Padgett, McTeer, Wells, Beau Headley, Remy, Jada Burris and Brooks O'Bryant.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Walterboro.
