It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl A. Merting (Walterboro, South Carolina), who passed away on April 27, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary H. Merting. He is survived by: his parents, Karl A. and Gertrude B. Merting; his sons, Bob Merting (Debbie) of Walterboro, Rick Merting of North Charleston and Mark Merting (Connie) of Summerville; his grandchildren, Sara Evans, Robert Merting, Carl Merting and Jacquelyn Merting; and his great grandchildren, Alanis Hamilton and Braxton Evans.
