It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janice Phifer (Walterboro, South Carolina), born in Georgetown, South Carolina, who passed away on November 19, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Edward Phifer; her parents, John E. Drayton and Sarah "Jeanette" Vaughn Drayton; and her brothers, Wylie and Frankie.
She is survived by: her children, James Russell Phifer (Laura) of Greenville, John Mark Phifer (Ava) of Walterboro, Brian Heath Phifer (Carla) of Walterboro and Donna Phifer Ware (Charles) of Walterboro; her sisters, Margaret, Barbara and Dorothy; her grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, Brandon, Kaylee and Joseph; and her great grandchild Atlas.
