He is survived by: his parent Minnie Lee Price Padgett; his son Richard Alvin Padgett, Jr. of Walterboro; and his siblings, Gene Padgett of Walterboro, Gerald Padgett (Lisa) of Walterboro, George Padgett (Theresa) of Walterboro, Clyde Padgett of Beaufort and Gail Padgett Prescott of Walterboro.
