It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Eugene Alderman (Walterboro, South Carolina), born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on June 26, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa Eugene Alderman and Eva Mae Martin Alderman; and his son-in-law John Tripp. He is survived by: his wife Betty Wethington Alderman; his children, Beth Alderman Tripp of Ruffin and Thomas Eugene "Gene" Alderman, Jr.; his siblings, Donnie Alderman (Lee) of Charleston and Peggy A. Williams (Owen) of Islandton; his grandchildren, Drew Tripp (Hannah), Dustin Tripp, Asa Alderman, Lydia Alderman, Darren Alderman and Gabriel Alderman; his great grandchild Nora Tripp; and his children, Faris Road and Greenville.
