It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lester Ashley (Ware Shoals, South Carolina), born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on March 24, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd Ashley and Sudie Ashley (late Glendell Ashley); and his son Rodney Wilson Ashley. He is survived by : his son Robert Ashley; his stepdaughter Laurie Wood (Chris); his grandchildren, CJ Ashley, Bree Ashley, John Preston Wood and Maggie Wood; and his nephew Barry Ashley, Jr..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund.
