It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Louise McMakin Brown (Wellford, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband James Berry Brown; her siblings, W. J. McMakin, Fulmer McMakin, Ray McMakin and Ruth M. McCarter; and her grandparents, James Edward, Fannie Louise Griffin McMakin, Elford and Hoseanna Pittman Turner.
She is survived by : her children, David Brown of Campobello, Joe Brown (Sue) of Greer and Linda B. Ford (Jerry) of Campobello; and her sisters, Leegeenee Eubanks of Spartanburg and Myrtle Smith of Campobello. She is also survived by three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
