We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2019, at the age of 69, David E. Welchel (Wellford, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Laverne Gooddy Welchel of Wellford and Samuel Edward Welchel, Jr.; his siblings, Samuel Andrew "Andy" Welchel of Greenville and Katherine Welchel Tate (Greg) of Spartanburg; his half-siblings, Samuel Edward Welchel III of Moore and Rebecca Welchel Westmoreland of Seneca; and his stepbrother Charles B. Welchel of Spartanburg.
