He was predeceased by : his parent Robert Earl. He is survived by : his parent Juanita Waldrop Mason; his wife Janet Rachael Mason; his children, Lesa Knighton of Startex, SC, Robert Dean Mason (Amy) of Knoxville, TN and Jonathan Turner (Keri) of Lyman, SC; and his sister Judith Gilmer of Spartanburg, SC.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
