She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Walter Matthews and Dorothy Matthews; her siblings, Caroline Daniels (Ken) and Lee Matthews; her children, Paul Wilson and Theresa Edens (Byron) of Ringgold, G. A.; her grandchildren, Philip Edens (Emily) of Lafayatte, G. A. and Danielle Edens of Ringgold, GA.; and her brother-in-law Gene Wilson of Kings, N. C..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts of love be given to the Children's Ministry of Fairview Baptist Church, 108 Jenkins Rd., Rossville, GA 30741 where her granddaughter, Danielle, is a member and assists in their ministry to children.
