She was predeceased by: her parents, Spurgeon H. Shelley and Sarah Cribb Shelley; her husband Raymond William Peake, Sr.; and her children, Shirley Jean Peake Payne and Raymond William "Bo" Peake, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Williams (Eddie) of Mt. Pleasant and Glenda Peake Cook of West Columbia; her grandchildren, Tabitha L. Peake Armstrong (Mike), William Chevy Peake (Jessica) and Kelsey Morgan Peake Teal; her great grandchildren, CJ, Gage and Myra Jeanette; her sister Rebecca Newton (Robert); and her granddaughters, Diamond and Kaluah. She is also survived by mother who adored her children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Jackson Creek Baptist Church, 7778 Two Notch Road, Columbia, SC 29223.
