It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Turgeon of Columbia, South Carolina, born in Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Roger Patterson; her stepfathers, Garden Butler and Gene Stone; and her brother Rick Patterson. She is survived by : her husband Bob Turgeon; her sons, Alex (Jenn), Chris (Sharon) and Brad Flenniken; her stepdaughters, Stephanie Turgeon (Allen), Dianne Richardson and Beth Dooley (Steven); her grandchildren, Georgia, Hannah, Conner, Janna, Jayda, Gavin, Bryna, Halle, Bess, Ben, Logan, Brooke, Ryan, Kyle, Drew and Porter; her stepbrothers, Ben, Nick and Bob Butler; and her pet Caio.

A funeral service was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Moseley Funeral Home (914 Meeting St, West Columbia, SC 29169).
