She was predeceased by : her parents, George Dewey and Lillian Bobo Windham; her husband Paul E. Waites, Sr.; and her children, Susan Lynn Waites and Keith Wayne Waites.

She is survived by : her children, Eddie, Marcia Roof (Jeff) and Stephen (Karen); and her sister Jane Miles. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
