He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Claytor Young Jr. and Marcia Young. He is survived by: his wife Beverley Hite Young; his children, LeAnna Davis (Jason), Marcia Thompson (Mike), Clay Young IV (Rebecca) and Angela Sullivan (Russell); his grandchildren, Chloeann Davis, Avaleigh Davis, Nicholas Travis, Mayley Davis, Michael Thompson Jr., Chase Thompson, Asher Young, Rowan Young, Sean Sullivan, Sophie Sullivan and Sawyer Sullivan; and his sisters, Wanda Hunter (Wayne) and Jeannette McDonald.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Calvary Baptist Church (2320 Cedar Grove Rd, Leesville, SC 29070). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in honor of Clay's life to the church.
