With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary E. Chandler Golden of West Columbia, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 27, 2025 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Chandler and Mary Chandler; her husband Carl E. Golden; her daughter-in-law Angela "Angie" Golden; her granddaughter Kate Golden; and her brothers, Vernon Chandler and Harter Chandler.
She is survived by: her sons, Carl Golden, Jr., Richard Golden (Sandra) and Calvin Golden; her grandchildren, Becky Golden-Nogaki (Hayato), Jessica Dorn (John) and Adam Golden; her great grandchild Easton Dorn; her sister Dora Ann Cueto (Bob); and her sister-in-law Lina Chandler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Caughman-Harman Funeral Home - West Columbia Chapel (820 W Dunbar Rd, West Columbia, SC 29170). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
