She was predeceased by: her father Bobby Laverne Chavis. She is survived by: her mother Camilla Croft Chavis; her husband David L. Crossland; her daughters, Amy Wessinger (Weston) and Ashley Caulder (Martin); her grandchildren, Aiden, Sullivan and Abigail; her brother Danny Chavis; and her in-laws, Allen and Joy Goff. She is also survived by her cousins, extended family, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Congaree Baptist Church (101 Pine Ridge Dr, West Columbia, SC 29172). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (845 Leesburg Rd, Columbia, SC 29209).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
