She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Leigh Williams and Virginia Emily Williams LeBeau; and her siblings, Gary Williams, Kenneth Williams, Deyonne Leah Sprolles and Janice Lynn Williams.

She is survived by: her husband Phillip Cox; her children, Melissa Lynn Cox and Dane Akers; her grandchildren, Anthony Lynn Smith, Jr. and Laylah Grace Cox; her nephew Michael Heishman Friend; and also Jodie Friend. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well fur babies.
