In loving memory of William Eugene Jackson Jr. (West Columbia, South Carolina), who departed this world on February 18, 2025 at the age of 79. In the vast expanse of eternity, William shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid William farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eugene Jackson, Sr. (Gene) and Emily Kolb Jackson; and his wife Jean Spratt Jackson. He is survived by: his daughter Kara Jackson Meetze (Christopher Donald Meetze, Sr.); and his grandchildren, Taylor Marie Martin, Mason Alexis Martin (Allie), Christopher Donald Meetze, Jr. (CJ) and Wynn Josey Meetze. He is also survived by two sisters, as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the SC Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association to advance critical disease research and support caregivers of Alzheimer's and Dementia patients.
