She was predeceased by : her husband Clyde Julion Elrod; her parents, Carlee Wilbanks and Rose Cobb Wilbanks; and her brothers, Virgil Wilbanks and Roland Wilbanks.

She is survived by : her children, Rev. Julian Elrod (Rhonda Finley) of Westminster, Diane Smith (Kerry) of Walhalla, Angie Chapman (Van) of Mountain Rest and Melissa Cromer (Bryan); her sisters, Elma Turner, Grace Whittaker, Annie Belle Thompson and Mildred Woodall; her grandchildren, Britta Johnson (Russell), Kristyn Smith, Mark Smith (Ashley), Jayce Elrod (Mary Beth), Braden Elrod (Ava-Grace) and Cameron Cromer (Lorelei); and her great grandchildren, Scarlett Smith, Braelynn Parker, Ryland Johnson and Ruby Ann Johnson.
