We bid farewell to Essie Louise Hodges of White Rock, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 31, 2025 at the age of 100. Essie Louise touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie James and Essie Smith Thomason; her husband Milton Hodges; and her brothers, James Thomason (Vera) and Earl Thomason (Carolyn).
She is survived by: her daughters, Melanie Perkins (Terry) and Myra Farley (John); and her grandchildren, Christopher Anderson, Clay Anderson, Kyle Farley and Meredith Farley Bugenske. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
