It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Effie Delk (Williston, South Carolina), born in Barnwell, South Carolina, who passed away on August 27, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Ottie Breland Nix; her spouse John Gerald Delk; and her brother Russell W. Nix. She is survived by: her parent Corrie Mae Chitty Nix; her siblings, Joyce Baxley (Charles) of Beech Island, John Nix (Sandra) of North Charleston, David Nix (Carolyn) of Wilmington, NC, Clifford Nix (Mary) of Lexington and Gene Nix (Nell) of Elko; and her sister-in-law Virginia "Ginny" Nix of Williston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
