James Smedley Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Smedley (Windsor, South Carolina), born in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on May 15, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his father James Knox Hill; his stepfather Bill Smedley; his mother Levada Minnie Austin Smedley; his wife Sharon Kay Mathews Smedley; his daughters, Susan Eardley (Jeff) of Savannah, GA and Jamie Lynn Smedley-Weed (Brian) of Jacksonville, FL; his grandsons, Gabriel, Noah and Eli Eardley; his sister Francill Wilson (Benny) of Wichita, KS; and his sisters-in-law, Bernice Bakke of Yukon, OK and Linda Mathews of Mustang, OK. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the current pandemic and the CDC regulations a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
