He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Leroy Mitchum and Eunice Walker Mitchum Bussey; and his siblings, Pamela Ellis and Frank L. Mitchum. He is survived by : his wife Ernestine "Teny" Elders Mitchum; his children, Judy M. Woodward (Chuck) of Williston, Melissa M. Argus (Lou) of Charleston and Kenny Mitchum (Denise) of Windsor; his siblings, Judy Love of Harlem, GA and Edward Mitchum (Bea) of Lincolnton, GA; his grandchildren, Celia Bolen (Tony), Hannah Wheeler (Jason), Mallory Ann Woodward, Heather Helton (Mike), Nichole Jackson (C. C.), Kara Marie Argus, Jessica Mitchum (Bill Porter, Justin), Todd Allen Mitchum and Shelby Hiers (Glenn); and his great grandchildren, Aubrey Bolen, Cade Bolen, Ansley Wheeler, Kyndall Wheeler, Kylie Argus, Haley Ruddock, Raylee Argus-Helton and Carolina Argus-Cooks. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
