With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mertice Whitmore of Woodruff, South Carolina, born in Simpsonville, South Carolina, who passed away on June 27, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Arnold and Jessie Boyter Arnold; her husband Johnny Allen Whitmore; and her siblings, Horace "Bub" Arnold, Ruby Lawson and Kay Brandenburgh.
She is survived by: her siblings, Linda Murphy of Woodruff, Mary Durham of Woodruff, Judy Crowe of Woodruff, Sarah Nelson of Woodruff and Melvin Arnold of Woodruff; and her great-nephew Jonathan Murphy (Jessica) of Simpsonville.
