He was predeceased by: his son Russel; and his parents, Rupert Ulmer and Orma Ulmer (Gross). He is survived by: his wife Kay Krumm; his children, Tera Martin (Rob) of Roscoe, Kris Scherr (Steve) of Roscoe, Brad Ulmer (Paulette) of Watertown and Tricia Grajczyk (Rob) of Eureka; and his siblings, Laura Dewald of Sioux Falls, SD, Evelyn Twite of DeSmet, SD, Ileen Lindner (Doug) of Warroad, MN, Patty Beyers (John) of Roscoe and Carolyn Lang (Don) of Aberdeen. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
