He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Long and Lola Long (Maxie); his sister Karen DeLong; and his parents-in-law, Alfred and Pearl Gange.
He is survived by: his wife Rosetta Gange of Alpena, SD; his pets, Sparky and Precious; his children, Dennis Long (Cindy) of Summit, Alfred Long (Pauline) of Huron, Cindy Larson (Rick) of Huron, Sheri Barth of Huron and Bill Long (Ellen); and his grandchildren, Tammy Kneen (Eric), Dennis Long, Jr. (Allison), Jeromy Long (Becky), April Thompson (Jay), Cory Larson, Arthur Long (Stephanie Biddle), Amy Long, Rose Long (Lee Buechler), Cody Barth (Nikkole), Casey Larson, Chad Barth (Apryl), Alfred Long, Jr. and Ada LaBar. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
