He was predeceased by: his wife Carol March; his parents, Ary Otter and Selma Den Otter (Olson); and his siblings, Gladys Halstead and Stanley Den Otter.
He is survived by: his children, LeeAnn Den Otter (Black Hawk) and Scott Den Otter (Piedmont); his grandchildren, Ary Den Otter (D. J.), Steven Den Otter (Amie), Garett Den Otter and Austin Wiehl; and his great grandchildren, Elsie, Ruby, Hattie and August.
