He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wesley Wilson and Mercy Emily Wilson; his daughter Connie Francis Smith; his stepson Sammy Glenn Tinnie; and his grandson William Edward Smith Jr..
He is survived by: his spouse Lorene Augustus Wagnon; his children, Rhonda Corean of Black Hawk and Randy Wilson of Joshua; and his stepchildren, Darlene Sale of Joshua, Charlotte Butler of Grandfalls and Paul Tinnie of Crushing. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and many great great grandchildren.
