He was predeceased by : his parents, John Herman and Emma Mary Malpert (Martins); his wife Preceding; his brothers, Rudolph, Marvin and Herman; and his siblings-in-law, Bernard Swanson, Gladys Malpert, Elsie Malpert and Ester Malpert.
He is survived by : his former life partner Edith Lynette McLaen; and his siblings, Adelaide Swanson of Brookings, SD and John Malpert Jr. (Mary Schultz). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
