We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2021, at the age of 85, John D. Finley (Brookings, South Dakota) passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Dewey" and Louise Viola Finley (Landsman); his brother William; and his parents-in-law, Elmer and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce (Engelbrecht) of Virginia; and his children, Allen Finley (Janet), Cindy Finley (Kris Bishop), Sheila Finley (Erik Voss) and Becky Meyer (Dale). He is also survived by his six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; cousins, and many relatives.
Following COVID guidelines, A private funeral service will be held for the immediate family only on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at 1:00 P. M. at Eidsness Funeral Home in Brookings.
