Leslie Schmeichel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leslie Schmeichel of Brookings, South Dakota, born in Milbank, South Dakota, who passed away on February 9, 2022, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Walter, Olga Schmeichel (Klepel), Leslie and Betty Heuer (Kelly). He is survived by: his parents, Richard Schmeichel and Linda Schmeichel (Heuer) of Milbank, SD; his siblings, Amanda Steckelberg (Mike) of Aberdeen, SD and Joshua Schmeichel (Kari) of Milbank, SD; and his siblings' children, Hailee Steckelberg, Audrey Schmeichel, Jayden Steckelberg, Harvey Schmeichel and Lawson Steckelberg. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins; along with his many friends.
