He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Noble Nelson and Ida Nelson (Osthus); his siblings, Allen Nelson, Delores Hult (Chet) and Margie Ebsen (Wayne); his parents-in-law, Ellsworth and Ida Peterson; his siblings-in-law, Eldonna Bartlett (Ronnie) and Doyle "Bud" Peterson; his wife Marlys; his daughters, Julie Junker (Arden "Pete") of Centerville and Betty Johnson (Dale) of Centerville; his grandchildren, Jamie Jo Johnson of Sioux Falls, JuLynn Perry (Clint) of Centerville, Jessica Pingrey (Tony) of Centerville, Braden Junker (Andrea) of Canton and Jenny Huisken (Cody) of Sioux Falls; his great grandchildren, Christian Perry, Brooke Pingrey, Gunner Pingrey, Isaiah Perry, Kate Junker, Elleanor Huisken, Mara Junker and Everson Huisken; and his siblings-in-law, Priscilla Landsman (Richard) of Sioux Falls, Claire Jacobsen (Peterson) of Sioux Falls and Ronald Peterson (Jenny) of Vermillion. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews, family, and many friends.
