He was predeceased by : his parents, Ervin Eichstadt and Gloria Eichstadt (Eckenbarger); and his uncle Marlin Affeldt. He is survived by : his wife Marla Schnabel; his children, Christopher Eichstadt of Sioux Falls, Amy File of Greenville, Gig Eichstadt (Leslie) of Chamberlain and Bret Eichstadt (Kim) of Huron; his sisters, Carol Klich (Ed) of Huron, Gail Eichstadt of Huron and Christa Horn (Jeff) of Wolsey; his uncle Ron Eichstadt (Penny) of Wolsey; his aunt Margaret Affeldt of Wykoff, Minnesota; and his grandchildren, Baylie Anderson-Alegria, Keaton, McKenna Eichstadt, Eric, Autumn, Kadi File, Brooke White Bear (Kaiden), Tyann Steckelberg, Kiera, Madi Eichstadt, Reece, Sutton Schweigert, Kaydance Eichstadt, Ryker Sawvell, Lane, Adalida, Delilah Eichstadt, Ainhoa Alegria, Noah File, Rehme Pickner and McKoy White Bear. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
