We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2021, at the age of 84, Mavis Schoenfelder of Chamberlain, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Vernon Zeman and Lorraine Hieb (Toupal); her husband Vern; her daughter Susan; her stepfather Daniel Hieb; her siblings, Jeanette Shroyer, Donald Zeman, Elaine VanLoh and Janice Hickey; and her son-in-law Mike Watratz.

She is survived by : her former life partner Vernon Schoenfelder; her children, Mavis, Vern, Steve Schoenfelder (Lori) of Lincoln City, OR, Bill Schoenfelder (Jean) of Lenexa, KS, Dale Schoenfelder (Michelle) of Chamberlain, SD, Tom Schoenfelder (Pam), Carol Adams (Paul) of Sioux Falls, SD and Christine Johansson (Leif) of Fairfield, CA; her sister Shirley Ford; and her stepbrother Daniel Hieb of Chamberlain. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
