With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William H. Hansen in Chamberlain, South Dakota, born in Pierre, South Dakota, who passed away on June 8, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Hansen and Beatrice Hansen (Thompson); his father-in-law Joe Birchfield; his son-in-law Ron Muth; his brothers, Harvey and Billy Hendershot; and his brother-in-law Lawrence Pickner.

He is survived by : his wife Sherry of Oacoma; his children, Angela Oliver of Chamberlain, Nichole Muth of Sioux Falls, Melissa Chmela (Wes) of Oacoma and Bill Hansen (Blair) of Chamberlain; his grandchildren, Ryan Geraets of Harrisburg, Stephanie, Brandon Geraets of Dells Rapids, Kordel, Jayd, Lyza Chmela of Oacoma, Chase and Hatcher Hansen of Chamberlain; his siblings, Harlan Hendershot (Freda) of Gillette, WY, Wanda Pickner of Oacoma and Neil Hansen (Dawn) of Cheyenne, WY; and his mother-in-law Eva Birchfield of Oacoma.
