He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Bernard Patenode and Claudia Ann Brewer; his children, Katy Ann Patenode (Tyrone), Suzann Lacy Patenode (Jordan Sullivan), Brandy Nichole Boykin (Jimmie), Christina Leigh Boykin of Clark, SD and Shane Patrick Patenode; and his brothers, Kenneth Patenode and David Patenode (late Cynthia Sue Patenode).
He is survived by : his former life partner Cynthia Sue Hitzemann; his wife Mary Sue Patenode of Clark, SD; his siblings, Robert Patenode of Roseburg, OR, Carl (Diane), Larry (Cheryl), Rose (Fred), Raczykowski of Lyle, WA, Shawna (Mike) and Johnson of Slayton, MN; and his daughters, Jessica (Scotty), Walters of Noxapater, MS, Mora of Clark, SD and Emboden of Clark, SD. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
